This drawing masterclass is suitable for advanced or intermediate students who want to improve their graphite techniques over the course of four days of intense work on botanical subjects. The course is dedicated to those passionate about botanical illustration, but it can also be a good exercise for artists who work with other mediums and themes, as we address fundamental notions of drawing.
Your tutor will be Irina Neacșu, architect, designer and botanical artist member of ASBA. While the subject is botanical, we cover all the specific phases of a complex drawing, with a focus on detail, precision and volumetric composition.
All workshops include live demonstrations and individual feedback.
At the end of the course, students will receive a set of professional pencils as a gift.
There will be a 1-hour lunch break everyday, between 13:00 and 14:00 hours, to be managed individually (not covered by the fee). This masterclass is designed as a unitary program, we do not accept one-day admissions.
