The Watercolor Painting Course for Children with Ștefania Cățiu is a program consisting of 4 workshops (3 hours each) designed for students aged between 10 and 12, which aims to develop imagination and stimulate artistic intuition, both through classical methods of painting, and through encouraging free style and experimentation.
Ștefania Cățiu studied botanical art under the guidance of famous local and foreign artists such as Irina Neacșu (RO), Mary Dillon (IE), or Anita Walsmit Sachs (NL) and has her own studio where, besides graphic artworks, she creates decorative objects using mixed media methods. While Ștefania combines techniques from various artistic fields in her own process of creation, her didactic approach is also interdisciplinary, based on playfulness and freedom of expression.
Day 1 – Basic watercolor techniques and color experiments, textures, shapes, etc.
Day 2 – Thematic Painting – Galaxies and cosmic imagery
Day 3 – Thematic Painting – Fruit and static nature
Day 4 – Thematic Painting – Flowers and plants
The course does not require a certain level of experience, and the painting materials are included in the price.
