This program is suitable for beginner students who want to learn the basics of graphite drawing over the course of four days of intense work on botanical subjects. The course can also be a good exercise for amateurs working with other mediums and subjects, as it addresses basic notions of structure, light & shadow, texture, volumetric composition and perspective.
The tutor is Irina Neacșu, architect, designer and botanical artist member of ASBA. Irina proposes botanical illustration as an ideal learning context for beginners, as it requires attention and precision, with focus on details, textures and shadows, thus facilitating intense study and fast assimilation.
All workshops include live demonstrations and individual feedback.
At the end of the course, students will receive a set of textured paper as a gift.
There will be a 1-hour lunch break everyday, between 13:00 and 14:00 hours, to be managed individually (not covered by the fee). This course is designed as a unitary program, we do not accept one-day admissions.

– withdrawal from the workshops two weeks (14 calendar days) before the event implies the return of 50% of the price of the course paid in full upon registration
– withdrawal from the workshops one week (7 calendar days) before the event implies the return of 30% of the price of the course paid in full upon registration
– for any withdrawal less than 7 calendar days before the event, the amount paid will not be refunded. In exceptional cases, the payment may be carried over to another course, with proof of the reasons for the cancellation.
