Garden design Summer School at Brasov
Course introduction
We end this July with a summer school dedicated to garden design, along with our landscape architect Diana Codrean. Together with Diana, you will explore the universe of garden design and browse the phases of a garden project step by step. While working on the individual project, Diana will also teach you technical and aesthetical notions, and will introduce you in the history of gardens and one of the most famous styles. Because summer is the best for spending time in the garden and thinking about how to harmonize it better, here we have an inspirational course, practical and useful, dedicated to all those passioned about gardening, flowers and landscape.
Course schedule:
Day 1
Will be about the ancient gardens, rustic style and notions about the functional analysis
Day 2
Finding out about ancient gardens, Mediterranean style and notions about equilibrium, proportions and composition
Day 3
This time we learn about middle ages gardens, minimalist style and notions about movement, rhythm, contrast, texture and colour, focal points
Day 4
Taking a step into renaissance gardens, naturalist style and notions about mineral elements
Day 5
Learning about english gardens and making the individual project
Tools and supplies are available at the studio. There will be laptops availalbe for participants research work.
Tuition fee: 240 euro

*Daily lunch break for one hour. Lunches can be organized by using the kitchen facilities at the studio, take away or nearby restaurants.

In forms of short workshops, distance learning, summer schools, art retreats and long term courses, our tutors aim to investigate creative explorations and authentic approaches of urban and wild nature.
